DeathBanger is a speed/thrash metal band from Ananindeua, Pará, in the Brazilian Amazon region, formed in 2017. Delivering raw, aggressive thrash with palm-muted riffing and furious vocals, the band released their debut demo "Reborn From The Ashes" in 2018 and a follow-up demo in 2020 featuring tracks such as "Realm Of Death" and "Satan Massacres." They were also featured on the northern Brazilian metal compilation "Coletânea Fúria Nortista Vol. 1," highlighting their role in the underground metal scene of the Amazonian North.
Destruidor is a black/speed/thrash metal one-man project based in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, led by the musician known as Victor Skullcrusher. Drawing heavy influence from first-wave black metal acts like Hellhammer, Venom, Bathory, Celtic Frost, and Sodom, the project has released several recordings including "Lord of Darkness" (2024), "Raising Hell," and "Torment From Hell."
Hell Poison is a one-man speed/black metal project from Teresina, Piauí, Brazil, created by the musician known as Deathhammer in 2015. The project draws heavily on Motörhead, Venom, Hellhammer, and Bathory, delivering raw and aggressive material across a prolific run of releases including Speed Metal Burns Your Mind (2017), Speedfreak Demons (2020), and Breathing for the Filth (2021). Hell Poison is distributed through Metal Scrap Records and has also appeared on a split with Brazilian band Thundertank.
Infectai is a speed/thrash metal and crust band from Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil, formed in 2012 by André (vocals), Murilo (drums), Aranha (guitar), and Sapo (bass). Drawing on the raw energy of 1980s punk and metal, the band writes music with explicitly critical content targeting contemporary economic and social systems. Their self-titled EP, released in October 2012, contains four tracks including "Frutos de Um Problema Social" and "Escravo do Inferno."
Lightyears is a heavy/speed/power metal band from Anápolis, Goiás, Brazil, operating as an unsigned independent act. Originally founded as Morticínio in 1998, Mortage play a brand of speed and thrash metal that follows the aggressive European template — early Kreator is a clear touchstone — with fast riffing built for relentless headbanging. The band has appeared on international splits, including a vinyl release alongside Californian thrash veterans Hirax.
Nordeath deal in the unholy intersection of speed and black metal, drawing equal inspiration from Bathory, Kreator, and Cruel Force as from Brazilian forebears Sarcófago and Whipstriker. Orgia Nuclear cook up a volatile mix of speed metal ferocity, thrash riffing, and black-crust grime, having honed their sound from the early "Caos Total" EP (2013) through to the full-length "Desgastado" (2018), recorded at Darkside Studio in Recife. Sung entirely in Portuguese, their lyrics take aim at social and political targets while the music charges forward with metalpunk urgency. Their split releases and active underground presence reflect a band more interested in raw energy than studio polish.
