Ricky Diamond is a southern/stoner metal and rock project from Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca in Alicante province, Spain, formed in 2017. The project channels sun-scorched southern rock and stoner metal from the Mediterranean coast.
Sludge/stoner/doom metal band from Warsaw, Poland, formed in 2020. Their descriptively mammoth name accompanies crushing triple-genre heaviness from the Polish capital.
Doom/stoner metal trio from Jundiaí, São Paulo, formed in the second half of 2016 by Rev. Bodefuzz (André Luiz Martins, voice/guitar) and Old One (Paulo Fornazza, drums), later joined by Baron Graves (bass). Sioux Falls, South Dakota's Rifflord have been immersed in the doom/stoner universe since 2015, building the kind of riff-centric, low-frequency heavy music that prioritizes crushing weight over technical complexity. South Dakota's vast, flat landscapes lend themselves naturally to slow, expansive music, and Rifflord's weed-scorched tempos and hazy guitar tones feel suited to long, empty stretches of prairie highway. They're a testament to the fact that America's forgotten middle can produce music as heavy and unhurried as anywhere else.
