AngelMaker approach deathcore as a many-voiced assault, using multiple vocalists, thick guitar layering, and abrupt rhythmic turns to make their songs feel crowded with menace. The band gained traction through releases such as Dissentient, the self-titled album, Sanctum, and later singles that continued refining their mix of brutality and melody. Their vocal attack is central: guttural lows, shrieks, and overlapping phrases create a feeling of pressure from several directions at once, while the instruments move between tremolo-picked darkness, slam-like drops, and mournful melodic leads. AngelMaker's writing is not just a sequence of breakdowns; the better songs build tension through pacing, letting blast sections, dissonant passages, and heavy pauses set each other up. The melodic side gives the band a tragic edge, especially when the guitars open into cold, dramatic lines before collapsing back into low-end punishment. Their music fits comfortably alongside modern deathcore while drawing enough from death metal and blackened atmosphere to avoid sounding narrow. AngelMaker are at their strongest when speed, melody, and blunt impact arrive as one controlled surge.
