Atmospheric black metal and dark ambient project from Portugal, formed in 2024 and exploring the intersection of tremolo-picked extremity and brooding ambient soundscapes. As one of the newest entries in Portugal's black metal underground, the project channels isolation and darkness through layered, atmospheric compositions.

The project performs black metal sung in Mexican Spanish, described by the band as "arte negrometal", and is signed to Sapo Negro Prods. Three full-length albums were released in 2022: "Esclavos de la Luna", "Vienen del fondo del abismo", and "Magna Goetia".
Quintessente is a melodic death and gothic metal band from Rio de Janeiro founded in 1994 under the name Quintessence, with a current lineup of vocalist André Carvalho, guitarist Cristiano Dias, keyboardist and vocalist Cristina Müller, bassist Luiz Fernando de Paula, and drummer Leo Birigui. After releasing two demos in 1996 and 2000 and a roughly 15-year hiatus, the band returned in 2015 and issued their debut full-length Songs from Celestial Spheres in 2017, which was later re-released digitally by Roadie Metal in 2019.
