Tangible Void is an atmospheric black/doom metal one-man project from London, active since 2012. Described as a hobby project inspired by black metal and modern doom, their 2012 release 'Halfway Through The Nowhere' features extended compositions steeped in melancholy and existential darkness.
Black metal project from Sofia, Bulgaria, operating out of the underground extreme metal scene that has grown steadily in the Bulgarian capital over the past decade. The project is associated with the Bandcamp handle 'angryman,' pointing to a solo or small-collective approach common to Eastern European underground black metal. Tanhauser Gate is an atmospheric black metal project from Bath, formed in 2020. Named after the iconic scene in Blade Runner, their music evokes vast, otherworldly soundscapes through atmospheric black metal rooted in the historic English city.
Brooklyn-based Tanith formed in 2017, built around guitarist and vocalist Russ Tippins — also a member of NWOBHM act Satan — alongside bassist/vocalist Cindy Maynard and drummer Keith Robinson. Tank is a NWOBHM/heavy metal band from London, active since 2005. Not to be confused with the original Tank featuring Algy Ward, this London outfit carries on the tradition of British heavy metal with the raw power and attitude that defined the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement.
Frankfurt's Tankard formed in 1982 and stands as one of the 'Big Four' of Teutonic thrash metal alongside Kreator, Sodom, and Destruction, distinguished from their peers by a lyrical obsession with alcohol rather than war, politics, or death. Signed to Noise Records, they released their debut Zombie Attack in 1986 and have sustained continuous output across more than 18 studio albums, most recently Pavlov's Dawgs in 2022. Banja Luka sludge outfit Tanker coalesced in 2008 as a side-project drawing members from local acts Monument, Revolt, and AntiDope. Their 2010 debut EP Sorrow Drives the Will laid out a heavy, riff-driven approach and the band built a reputation performing across the Balkans in the years that followed.
