Their debut Songs of Descent drew critical attention for the conviction of its execution, and The Lurch (2021, Relapse Records), recorded at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, offered a more expansive and dynamic take on the same confrontational template. The band has been described as one of the most cohesive practitioners of the grindcore-sludge hybrid.
