Architeuthis Dux is a death-grind band from Mar del Plata, Argentina, featuring Chela on vocals, Blass on guitar, Pitu on bass, and Joaco on drums. The band has built an extensive catalog of recordings, including releases such as "Apotheosis of the Guillotine", "Acropolis", "Hecatomb", and a split with Indonesian band Jeritan. Named after the scientific designation for the giant squid, they are one of the most prolific acts in the Argentine extreme metal underground.
Are You God? was a brutal death metal and grindcore band from São Paulo, Brazil, active from 2001 until their split-up. They released their 2001 debut demo as a handmade CD-R on recycled paper, distributing over a thousand copies for free — a gesture rooted in the DIY ethos of the São Paulo underground. Their discography includes the 2006 album Miranda (released via Travolta Discos and 2+2=5 Records) and a 2008 split with German grindcore act Japanische Kampfhörspiele.
Argoroth merges black metal, death metal, grindcore, and noise from an undisclosed Norwegian location since 1999. Over a quarter century, this chaotic multi-genre project has produced some of the most abrasive, boundary-defying sounds in the Norwegian underground.
