Garlic Grinder is a French grindcore duo consisting of vocalist T. and guitarist-programmer L., formed in 2020, delivering '1312% DIY' deathgrind and d-beat across politically charged short-burst tracks. Their 2020 demo packs six tracks into approximately six minutes, recorded between Montpellier and Beaumont-sur-Oise.
Named for the hound that guards the gates of Hel in Norse mythology, Milford, Connecticut's Garm pursues a raw and cold black metal sound with appropriately grim intent. Active since 2021, the project carries its mythological namesake seriously.
Brutal Death Metal / Hardcore / Grindcore from Fort Worth.
A brand-new goregrind project from Connecticut, Gastric Fasciitis arrived in 2025 with the kind of clinical-horror fixation and blasting ferocity the genre demands. Short, violent, and deeply unpleasant in the best possible way.
Denver's Gastric Phantasm carve up a nasty intersection of goregrind and death metal, keeping things visceral and churning since their 2021 formation. Equal parts intestinal and infernal.
Gastric Ulcer emerged from Feldkirch in 2005 and blend death metal, thrash, and grindcore into short, socially cutting songs that target trends and cultural absurdities in everyday life. Their discography ranges from the 2006 demo Ants All Over My Body through mini-CDs and full-lengths including Redundant and Phall if You but Will, Rise You Must.
Chicago's Gastropod blend grindcore's furious brevity with death metal's crushing low-end, building a sound that's both abrasive and rhythmically punishing. Formed in 2023, they're a welcome new entry into the city's brutal underground.
Gastroschisis is a goregrind/death metal band from Attard, Malta, formed in 2018. Named after the congenital abdominal wall defect, they deliver medical-horror themed extremity from the Mediterranean island nation.
Gatica are a thrash/grindcore band from Rosario, Argentina who launched in 2020 with the 15-track debut Matando Chetos (May 2020), followed swiftly by the equally frenetic Barbarie mata galán (March 2021). Both records blend politically charged lyrics with short, high-speed songs in the tradition of extreme crossover grindcore.
