Punishing Grindcore / Sludge Metal / Hardcore from Houston.
The Clockwork Deity from Brighton deliver an ambitious fusion of symphonic, technical, brutal death metal, and grindcore since 2017. Their name — suggesting a mechanistic god — drives compositions of divine complexity from the Sussex coast.
Los Angeles's The Dolemite Project have been colliding grindcore velocity with crossover thrash's d-beat swagger and classic thrash riffing since 2016, producing short, punishing songs designed to leave listeners winded. Named with an eye toward exploitation cinema, they bring the same irreverent aggression to their music — fast, noisy, and absolutely ferocious. In LA's vast and competitive underground, they've carved out a distinctive niche at the chaos end of the thrash spectrum.
Grindcore band from Brasília formed in 2014 by members of DFC, Violator, and NW77. Their debut album I Spit on Your God, a 31-track, 29-minute record, was recorded at GrindHouse Studio in 2016 and released in 2017 on Rip Roaring Shit Storm Records as a cassette limited to 50 copies. The band also released the 7" EP Romantic Baphomet in 2016, hand-numbered and limited to 66 copies.
São Paulo grindcore trio formed in 2016 with a lineup of Zech (guitar, vocals), Zumbi (bass), and Emiliano (drums). The band released the single Beginning Dirt in February 2016, the album Bulshit in August 2020, and Life Disturbed in April 2022. They contributed a cover of Nasum's "Shadows" to the 2020 compilation A Brazilian Tribute to Nasum: Mieszko Lives.
The Killing is a death metal and grindcore band from Grand Bourg, Buenos Aires, formed in 2017. The band released their debut EP "...y Muerte Para Todos" in September 2018, a five-track record recorded at FDM Studios and mixed at Music City Amberes in Belgium. The release draws on themes of social violence and political corruption, with a relentless blend of grinding riffs and blastbeat-driven aggression.
