Sooper Spooki are a California black metal and goregrind project formed in 2020, merging the lo-fi atmospherics of raw black metal with the speed and grotesque imagery of grindcore in a deliberately irreverent package.
Bryansk's Sordid Clot pair death metal and goregrind from the western Russian border city since 2005. Two decades from the crossroads near Belarus and Ukraine, their coagulated-gore name has built a legacy of unrelenting extremity.
Sore Throat formed in Huddersfield, England in 1987, becoming one of the earliest and most extreme proponents of noisecore — a subgenre of grindcore defined by total sonic disintegration, ultra-short song lengths, and confrontational anti-music aesthetics.
